PSK-31 on-the-air
Demonstration Request On Friday, February 10th, Eric Keerbs,
AD7HM, will be doing a presentation on ham radio for National Engineers Month
at Stoller Middle School in Beaverton, Oregon. Here's what will be happening…. Eric will be setting up an HF station in
the classroom with a portable antenna.
He is hoping to make contacts on the lower end of 20 meters using
digital mode (B)PSK-31.

These times are not written in stone. So please have your station on early and

Class In addition to the regularly scheduled licensing classes for
this year, a special class for general instruction of the Technician level
amateur radio license especially for YLs is being sponsored by the CCARC. The dates of the classes are 3/2, 3/3, 3/9, 3/10, 3/16 and
3/17. For the dates of 3/2 through
3/10, classes with be held at the LDS Meetinghouse at 7101 NE 166th Avenue,
Vancouver, WA. For Friday, 3/16, the location is yet to be determined and will be announced when
available. The classes are held
Fridays 7:00 pm to 9:00pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. On 3/17, the class will meet in at the
American Legion Post 176 at 14011 NE 20th Ave, in Vancouver, WA. The club's March 17th VE session, held at
the same location, will be available for students who are ready to take the

at HamLicenseClass@w7aia.org. Gee Creek Rest Stop Gee Creek is one of the Clark County Amateur Radio Club’s main fund-raising events. About three or four times a year we register with the Washington
Transportation Department to obtain
Gee Creek Rest Stop weekend slots. Members are asked to fill one or more of
the 4-hour slots. If you have never been on the list before, you will be assigned
with someone that will help you get started so don’t be bashful
and sign up for this fun event! April 21-22, 2012 - Check
